Major Update Released!

To celebrate these milestones, we have just released a major update to our most popular short horror experience...

Our brand new short horror experience is inspired by the real-life Penjikent Murals located in Tajikistan!

It's the most polished project we've made yet with so much content to offer! Feel free to check it out yourself!

Major Update Notes

Visual Changes:

• Changed the way the truck of the player looks.
• Improved animations in certain scenes.
• Fixed visual glitches in certain scenes.
• Improved the layout and visuals of the attic.
• Significantly improved the visuals of the player weapon.

UI Changes:

• Fixed grammar and typos in certain scenes.
• Significantly improved the main menu to guide the player.

Gameplay Changes:

• Fixed player collisions in certain parts of the farmhouse.
• Adjusted the length of certain cutscenes.
• Fixed a bug in the attic that could soft-lock the game.
• Improved the checkpoint system and navigation.
• Progress is now saved & loaded, even if you quit the game.

Puzzle-Solving Changes:

• Changed the default (unchanged) symbols of the safe.
• Changed the symbols on all hanging medals.
• Improved audio clues for certain puzzles.
• Significantly improved visual clues for certain puzzles.
• Main menu now guides the player on how to find all endings.
• Main menu now guides the player on some missed clues. 
• Main menu starting location can now be highlighted for guidance.

Along with these changes, are so many other small improvements to almost every aspect of our game.

We are really pleased with how polished The Penjikent Creature turned out to be and believe there probably won't be any other updates in the future, since in our eyes, our game is now in an almost perfect state.

This means you can now experience the game yourself! If you have played The Penjikent Creature in the past but didn't find all endings, now is also the perfect time to dive right into it once more! :D
