Game Theory - Are you being spied on by someone?

Since our game has so many mysterious endings and strange clues, we wanted to shed some light into what is actually happening behind and throughout the story!

Miss Beartha is the main character you come across as you enter the Smithmann Farm Estate. Her great grandfather has been involved in the excavation of many historical sights in Panjakent, Tajikistan in 1876.

She has a large farmhouse located close to Longcreek County. After a phone talk between you, the protagonist, and Miss Beartha, you decide to visit her in order to see one of the artifacts, that was left to her from her ancestors.

Throughout the game strange events take place, that suggest that the protagonist may be being manipulated. The following is the floor layout of the Smithmann Farm Estate and the first floor of the farmhouse.

After a strange conversation with Miss Beartha, you climb up the stairs to the attic.

The following is a floor plan of the attic. In the last Game Theory, we have discussed how Miss Beartha has been lying about certain things. The strange events that take place in the attic may suggest that she is manipulating your actions.

The lantern that Miss Beartha has given to the protagonist spontaneously breaks as you are in the attic.

If the protagonist quickly goes over to Miss Beartha after their conversations in the kitchen, you will find Miss Beartha messing around with the lantern.

Miss Beartha has told you that she is "too old to climb the ladder" to the attic. However, the lights in the attic also break spontaneously as you are investigating the mural.

Later on, the protagonist can find the electricity panel taken off and manipulated. Although, it is not clear whether this has been done by Miss Beartha.

Shooting all 3 hanging medals in order to unlock The Escape Ending reveals a trap door that is located in front of the large attic room.

Entering the trap door grants you access to a completely different part of the farmhouse.

The layout is very crammed and elongated.

As one can see in bottom-left corner of the attic layout, it is a completely separate section of the attic.

Following the corridor in this small room leads to a hole in the wall.

Where the protagonist can observe the large attic room, which is where you investigate the clues for the mural.

The strange thing is, this corner of the large attic room directly connects to the small room, which can only be accessed by a trap door.

You were being spied on the whole time.

There is also another trap door that can be used to access the small room, perhaps this is where the unknown figure has been creeping around with you in the attic.

...and that's it for this article folks!

There are so many hidden details that we will hopefully uncover in the next article.

In the meantime, feel free to share your speculations and ideas in the comments about what might actually be happening to Miss Beartha and the mural!

Well.. Miss Beartha. This is what's great about my job as an archaeologist.

We discover new things constantly. This... mural that you have...

...is a lot older than you might think, likely painted around 6th century.

What your great grandfather found is... truly... fascinating.

It seems to depict a forsaken creature...

from the Sogdian folklore... called Ebeğn.
