Our game has also been played by TheGameSalmon, who has an impressive 430K subs. His video was quite funny and entertaining, so we wanted to also link it here for you to see!
This was a cool short scary game! I liked that you had to do something different the second time to try and not get caught, I think you could make a full game out of it being a loop, where you have to not repeat things, or do things differently to try and escape
This was recommended by the game dev themselves & I streamed it! I cannot wait to see what more comes. It was nice & short and a little creepy! The game is at 2:03:34 Hope you enjoyed it!
Welcome back! It was quite a strange coincidence getting your livestream recommended, right as we were checking the stats for one of our game trailers.
Nevertheless, thank you for playing our game and having a good time!
(Here's a direct link to the part of your stream where you play our game.)
no worries! It was nice of you to pop on and recommend! If you ever need someone to try your game, playtest, record your game etc.. i am your person. You have my support, guaranteed!
Neat game, although it is very interesting to me what is up with "By downloading or playing our game you agree to our Terms and Conditions" serious consent form.
I fully understand the workflow of game development and game making, yet this is the first time I've seen the consent form for just downloading and playing a game. There are things, which I did not read in those terms and I don't want to read to be honest, because the game is published for the players to be played. Now, if you are taking a precaution of someone stealing your project, I fully understand that. That's why you put a sign or some other type of indication that you own this game, for example like I do with my games having my studio name and the copyright sign, but other than that, Idk. It was just very odd to me, because I've never encountered such a brief consent form before. Maybe I am old schooled, believing in decency of others not stealing your content, although it does happen and definitely need to be monitored. But again, just seemed very odd to me.
As for the game itself, it was a good experience. Sound design, the atmosphere, everything was solid. However, the monster design was not my favorite, not only because it is a very popular asset used in many games, but also because it shows a huge difference in quality of the game - what I mean is that, everything besides the monster design is unique, self made, genuine and well-place, unlike the monster just being an immersion breaker. In my subjective opinion it can be changed or modified somehow. Overall, it did deliver the spooks.
We are glad you had a great time and enjoyed our game.
As indie game developers and players just like you, we value the effort and hard work that goes in to crafting a game. A well written terms and conditions allows us to add an extra layer of protection to our beloved work.
It also warns that projects may contain flashing lights and visual effects, which is quite important to some people.
That's why we've written it on a separate page and linked it for easier accessibility.
Once again, I fully understand the precaution, yet you can make it more simple and less of a "consent" form. I play tons of games, which give that information very briefly and at the same time I don't feel like I have to read an entire page of "legal stuff". Its just a bit odd, as I said, nothing I am against at all, but just weird.
I forgot to mention that the game had couple of issues with the frame rate and I assume that's because of the "monster" asset size and optimization. During the sequence where the monster appears in the hallway, the frame drops for couple of seconds. Easy fix, but just a thing you should probably note.

Thanks! This project took around a week to make from start to finish and it was certainly a lot of fun.
Good luck to you and we wish you all the best in your own game making endeavours...
