Sands of Kindness

Sands of Kindness is a procedurally generated game based on relaxation and storytelling.

This delightful game summons you in a lovely desert filled with charming villages, serene lakes and majestic mountains. All bathed in a minimalistic art-style. The terrain, characters, names, stories and interactions are all procedurally generated or fully randomized.

With each step you take, you'll find yourself in colorful villages, shallow lakes and wide mountains. All of these landscapes are tailored just for you and they offer quite literally endless exploration with every regeneration and thousands of unique dialogues to read.

But what truly sets this game apart is the wisdom and warmth of the locals you'll encounter. As you engage with the villagers, you'll discover a treasure trove of tales. Each conversation is an unscripted encounter and a part of many stories in Sands of Kindness.

Travelling at different times of the day will let you encounter different types of people with unique stories to tell. You might come across a peaceful traveler sitting around a campfire in the desert, a visitor sailing on a little boat or even a hiker on top of a mountain.

About The Game

This was a wonderful little project that took around two weeks to make. We had lots of fun making it and we hope you enjoy it too!
